Our residential care home has an excellent selection of spacious rooms, all decorated in ‘homely’ designs with bright colours and fittings. The rooms all have WIFI, television points, alarm call points and a fully addressable fire alarm system.
Ten bedrooms have en-suite facilities and the remaining nine all have wash basins. We pride ourselves on providing high quality furnishings and fabrics to ensure an easy transition from ‘home to home’.
Personal treasured belongings are welcomed as we understand that these are extremely important when settling into a new home.
Our 20 bed home ensures we offer:
Personalised Care: We offer support to those who are 65+, who may be struggling to live independently at home or may have been diagnosed with mild dementia.
In a small care setting, our caregivers provide much more personalised attention to each resident. This care will lead to a stronger relationship and a tailored approach.
Family like Atmosphere: Our small home fosters a family-like atmosphere where residents, staff and family members develop close bonds and sense of community within the home. This enhances trust, communication and overall well-being and quality of life for our residents.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Our care givers and management team are nimble in responding to the constant changing needs. We can adapt quickly to individual preferences leading to highest quality of care.
Our external activities, such as a chiropody, physio, hair dressing and trips out will incur a fee.
You can decide whether to make Herons Lea either a permanent home, or just for a couple of weeks respite.
